Ferah Alay Ünay graduated from Eskişehir Osmangazi University Faculty of Medicine in 1996 and worked as a general practitioner in Manisa before specialising in anaesthesiology and reanimation at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine, completing it in 2005.
She spent years in intensive care and, from 2010 to 2023, was an anaesthesiologist at Istanbul Zeynep Kamil Women and Children's Hospital. She joined Vanity in 2023 and has published and presented widely at national and international meetings.
