Meet The Vanity Specialist

She is a physician by profession whose passion for beauty made her pursue a dichotomous path to  medicine and aesthetics. She resigned during her 3rd year of  Radiology residency training due to health concerns. In between hectic hospital duties, she found time to squeeze in make up gigs for weddings and debuts. She is also known as the “make-up artist in scrubs (MUA in Scrubs),” taking after her winning entry to Summit Publications’ and Nokia’s contest on Passions.

After resignation, she attended the Academy of Beauty and Arts in Manila under the tutelage of Lourd Ramos, for a formal schooling in make up artistry and hair styling. Since then, she has done several more works for events including glamour and avant garde make up for various fashion photoshoots.

Her works have been featured in the “Contrast”  exhibit by photographer Dustein Sibug last November 2007 at the Xavier University Museo de Oro.

Currently working as a company physician and medical article writer, she continues to nurture her passion for beauty. She hopes to share her expertise of the art with people who seek the fountain of knowledge in the field of aesthetics.
