Here are some more examples of the color schemes following yesterday’s lesson on color theory:


Monochromatic- Angelina Jolie keeps her makeup subdued with a monochromatic blend of browns in varying intensities. Even her lipstick is a tint of brown.

Analogous- Green and Yellow lie next to each other on the color wheel. The addition of pink gives the complimentary twist to green.

Complementary. Green compliments pink which is a tint of red. Green is directly opposite red in the colorwheel.

Triadic- The Colors on her eyes yellow and blue, plus the red lips are in equal distances from one another.
